The inspiration behind the name of our property, The Overlook offers breathtaking views of our pristine 55 acres! You’ll see the timber frame metal roof of The Forge off to the right, our own vineyard and flower gardens off to the left, hay fields and cows all around setting the scene for the perfect destination event. You and your guests can see Brasstown Bald from this space known as the highest point in the state of Georgia. Brasstown Bald is located in the northeastern part of the state in the Blue Ridge Mountains on the border between Towns and Union counties south of the city of Hiawassee and is known to the native Cherokee people as Enotah known as “the land that nourishes”.
