Overlook 55’s original love story started in February of 1991 when Jason Ledford met his bride of 28 years, Larinda Ledford. These two dated over four years while attending North Georgia College - now University of North Georgia, and were wed in Grayson Georgia in 1995. 

 

After completing dental school in Augusta Georgia, the two purchased this 55 acer Farm now known as Overlook 55 located in beautiful Young Harris Georgia. This farm grew into a family farmstead with Jasons parents living on and working the fields. 

 

Years later, their family was completed with the addition of their two children Emma Kate and Caleb. Emma Kate fell in love with her husband Caleb Clark and was wed under the Willow Tree at Overlook 55 in May of 2022. They currently reside in St. Louis Missouri where she works as an Engineer. Their son Caleb Ledford resides and works on the farm at his blacksmith shop. Caleb was a two time finalist on The History Channel's hit show, Forged In Fire.

 

Dr. Jason Ledford now practices dentistry in Hiawassee Georgia while Larinda enjoys horticulture among her many manicured gardens on property.
